the whole picture.

John started Stick & Stone around a simple idea: look after the project, including the details that are easy to leave for someone else.

John stays close to the work and brings in tradespeople he knows when the project needs them. Clear scope, considered choices, and care in the finishing details.

STRAIGHTFORWARD ANSWERS

Before we get started.

Something else on your mind?

Can I start my project online?

Yes. Outline your project, timing, and priorities in the planner. Explore the questions and visual options, then review your project summary before choosing how you’d like John to reply. Review your details before sending them to John. The planner does not calculate a quote.

What warranty comes with roofing?

Stick & Stone offers a 20-year limited roofing workmanship warranty covering defects in the roofing installation we contract to perform, starting from the documented completion date. Product warranties are separate. Read the covered work and written terms before your project begins. Read the workmanship warranty →

Will I work directly with John?

John is the owner and your main point of contact. He works with tradespeople he knows when a project needs additional expertise. The scope and who will carry it out should be part of the conversation before work begins.

Do I need to know my budget before reaching out?

No. It’s fine to be exploring. Tell John what you have in mind, what matters most, and when you’re thinking. He can discuss a possible starting range based on the information available and explain what he needs to assess before preparing a detailed proposal.

What happens after I request a visit?

Use the contact form to tell John about your project and ask about a visit. John will follow up to discuss the request; sending the form does not book a visit. Start with a conversation about scope and potential budget. If it makes sense to move forward, agree on a visit so John can assess the work and prepare a written proposal. A preferred date is only confirmed once you and John agree.

HERE’S WHERE WE START

Good work starts with a clear plan.

01

Tell us what you have in mind.

Explore your options and create a short project brief. It’s fine to be figuring things out.

02

Talk through scope and budget.

Share your ideas with John. Work through the scope and a possible budget before arranging a visit.

03

Arrange a visit. Shape the plan.

If the direction feels right, John can assess the work and prepare a detailed proposal before you commit.
